FSSC 22000
JAS/OCIA and USDA/NOP *EU, Canada organic equivalence
We promote organic agriculture as environment-friendly and healthy. Our Teas are certified JAS organic and National Organic Program under USDA organic. *EU, Canada organic equivalence.
- JAS Organic includes,
Processed Food Production Process – Organic Matcha, Organic Sencha, Organic Gyokuro, Organic Houjicha, and all other organic processed Green Tea Products. - Repacker of Processed Food – Organic Matcha, Organic Sencha, Organic Gyokuro, Organic Houjicha, and all other organic processed Green Tea Products.
OU-KOSHER
Maruyama was already following OU -Kosher stringent as our organic Matcha, organic Sencha, organic Bancha, Organic Houjicha, and all the Japanese Green tea products are certified via OU-Kosher.
The word kosher means proper or acceptable. Maruyama Tea products contain neither dairy nor meat nor any dairy or meat derivatives. In Kosher Lexion, such a product is called ‘Pareve’ or sometimes ‘Parve’.
HALAL Certification
Maruyama Teas are certificated via Nippon Asia Halal Association.
We try our best to make sure of the Halal and Tayyabness of ingredients and process. Unintention mistakes are possible as we don’t claim ourselves as God but we do IJTIHAD (hard work) to make sure no mistake process.
Maruyama Tea has complied with the HALAL requirement according to Islamic Law and is authorized to use the HALAL MARK and QR CODE issued by the undersigned authority until the date of expiry.
